Matcha Green Tea Discovery Kit
New to matcha, or want to try our different grades? Our introduction to matcha kit includes mini sizes of all our unflavored matcha options: premium grade, matcha reserve, and ceremonial grade so you can taste the differences between them and get started on your matcha journey. Each kit includes: 15g Premium Matcha - Grown in Shizuoka, Japan with a sharp, vegetal aroma and light green color. Machine picked and made with a variety of cultivars this is the perfect base for all of our flavors. This matcha starts out smooth and ends on a sharper note. We consider its quality in between a culinary grade and ceremonial grade matcha. 15g Matcha Reserve - Grown in Yame, Japan with a deep green color and a deep, almost chocolatey aroma. Machine picked, made from a single cultivar of matcha called Okumidori, or "deep green." This matcha starts on a rich vegetal note but is balanced by a nutty aftertaste. We consider its quality on par with ceremonial grade matcha. 15g Ceremonial Matcha - Grown in the heart of Uji, Japan with a rich, vibrant green color and fresh, grassy aroma. This matcha is picked by hand to ensure only the highest quality leaves get ground up. Each sip is incredibly smooth with a light floral finish. Bamboo Matcha Whisk - The traditional tool for preparing matcha. Features a small stamped 3 Leaf Tea logo on the handle. Using a "W" or "M" motion, whisk matcha vigorously to create froth. To clean, rinse with warm water after each use and let dry. Not dishwasher safe. Whisk Holder - Great for displaying, drying, and maintaining your whisk's lifespan and shape. Fine Mesh Sifter - Sifting matcha, especially ceremonial grade matcha is recommended to remove any clumps to ensure a smooth cup. Each 15g bag makes enough for approximately 7 servings and comes in a resealable pouch for easy storage.

Matcha Reserve
Tasting Notes: Nutty, Invigorating, Smooth This special harvest was grown and imported just for us, by Mr. Saito, straight from Yame, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. We are happy to be the first company in America to bring you this incredible matcha. Upon opening the bag, you'll smell the rich, smooth chocolate aroma, and see the beautiful deep green color. Once prepared, this ceremonial-grade matcha has a complex nutty, but smooth vegetal taste. As the matcha cools, the subtle chocolate notes become more apparent. Every Fall and Spring Mr. Saito takes tea leaves from his crop to have them analyzed and then, based on the lab results, adjusts the water, fertilizer, and nutrients in the soil in order to ensure the best possible tea crop. Milk Frother
Making perfect froth at home shouldn't be hard, and this handheld frother makes it so simple. Just insert the frothing head into milk, flip the side switch, and wait until the milk foam gets to your desired thickness. This tool is also great for blending matcha. Just add water or milk first, then add the matcha and froth away! (We recommend sifting the matcha before using this method). Runs on 2 AA batteries (not included)
